I lost my mind today
It was not where I had put it
Standing there I felt like air
I didn’t compare the this’s with the that’s
Alarms did not chime
Silence felt
Consumed with quietness
I somehow had washed away
Cares and the wants
To and the froe
They were not glaringly there
I did not need.
What a splendid thing
To loose ones mind
