The Approving Eye

Lets face it we all judge each other. Every species on this planet has an internal discernment program set up so that their species will thrive. This natural instant judgement is our first instinct/defense to figure out if this is energy we want to partake in.

What roles do culture and society play in shaping these instincts that we are born with? When we are taught different set of standards, manners, belief systems this can provide emotional factors that are so overwhelming that instead of feeling a situation, our core communal beliefs play like a dialogue in our head. Thoughts that really have nothing to do with ourselves but everything to do with programing. Do we always listen to our first thoughts of each energetic interaction? No. Sometimes they are covered with shame or sludge etc.

Has this ever happen to you? You find yourself judging a person or situation and are lost in a hurricane of judgement? This is not me. I have felt shameful for this instant fury of ugly thoughts but then quickly realize that is not how I truly feel.

My focus always comes back to discerning each situation for the energy that is. My reactions could be societally programmed, and that is okay. Overall does my decision to partake in these beliefs benefit my overall health. If not they are quickly flushed away and I focus on appreciating the fact that I brought my awareness to this. I don’t like to get lost in thoughts that really, are just not me. I do not blame anyone or anything for my programed judgements. These experiences are there to help me evolve.

Energetic discernment will help attune anyone seeking an alignment of their true path.

What I am really saying is don’t get lost in judgement. Discern each of your own internal thoughts. The squirrel walking down the sidewalk might cross the road to avoid you. Don’t shame the little guy he was just protecting his littles at home…

Trust your first instincts they are usually right!

  1. Ana, I’m glad you received that. I really love reading awesomeness. WordPress has gotten to be fun because of connecting. I never knew how to use the app or even leave a comment sometimes on my own page…

    1. Ana, I replied to you here but I’m still getting the hang of WordPress as you can see from above. i don’t think you get notified unless I actually reply to you 🤔 ha. Some day I’ll get it.

      1. WordPress sometimes gets a mind of its own, too, as you’ll find as you go along… “Like” buttons will disappear for undetermined periods of time, as will subscriptions, and notifications thereof. We learn to keep our feelers out, and to keep each other informed!

  2. “Trust your gut” – I wrote something on this several months ago, and it still resonates with me today. I do go back and forth, oftentimes not listening to my intuition the way I should. But you’re right, it is generally not wrong.
