Splash of Glass

Of course – It starts with an idea.

This is just an experiment – throwing together of scraps to see it I can make things work…

After grinding, checking and grinding off some more glass – Okay it works πŸ™‚

Sometimes I think that putting on the copper foil is the longest part – Fun but so close….

Soldering time!

Light shining through is the best part for me.

Time of day, opaque glass/transparent glass the play of light you see through out the day you get to see the glass in many splendors.

So much fun.

I want to start creating mosaics. ❀ It is important to figure out materials before you jump right in. I would be quite sad to make a beautiful piece put it outside and in the spring it is all broken…

With stained glass ventilation is extremely important. I don’t recommend using your hand as a broom to wipe away shards of glass.

I would love to hear about hobbies or artwork that you have done.

    1. Thank you Kevin, I love that you share your creativity with WP. I haven’t made stained glass for sometime. I have a piece that is all set for soldering. Ha I kinda forgot about that one now I want to go home and be lost in glass. Thanks for the inspiration. I look forward to reading and seeing your posts. πŸ™‚
