What does it feal like to be real and raw?
Diving right down to the core
Do we ever get there?
In a bumper lane life
No we don’t.
For I would never share
My true happiness or sadness with others
Why not… you say?
Well, when I was small I learned to mask it all
I might be able to talk to you in a poem
and
You might be able to see my light
For at times it’s really hard to mask

I also find it easier to share my true emotions through art, so I definitely feel you on this. Wonderful poem- so true, alive, and expressive. And I see your light 🙂

It is hard sometimes but the best part Laura, is I see a lot of littles coming into the world right now shining so brightly. With each generation I think more light/truth comes through. 🙂 and that helps
