What is a movie without a great score… Actors and actresses at their best while music is a character in itself that propels emotion, hidden truths and a depth that goes far beyond words. Musical genius expressed in movies has effected all of us at one time or another. Most of the time you know when a movie will be good just from the score. There are also the movies that hit so hard they are etched in your soul.
I often wonder what the musical score would be like for my life. 😀 Then again I am not sure if I would want to hear the Jaws soundtrack playing in the background while I am eating.

Arrival
This song is a triumph of expression diving right into the depth of a mother’s heart. What a beautiful journey one will go through for love. Wouldn’t you agree? And if you have not seen this I highly recommend it.
The Fountain
This by far has got to be one of the best scores of all time. The Fountain I would refer to as a Masterpiece. The story beautifully told. Every emotion and feeling in the score. The Awe. Beauty represented here is unlike anything I have ever experienced. I love the whole score.
Braveheart
My favorite movie. It was hard to pick one song to represent this epic tale for freedom. This movie has every quality you could ask for and the musical score for me – life changing.
Pocahontas
Close to my heart for many reasons. Grandmother Willow, Que que na-to-ra, You will understand. Listen with your heart. ❤ The best advise anyone could ever give! This whole score was magical and the fact that many young ones got to see it makes me so happy.
Honorable mention: Romeo and Juliet
A new version of the Shakespearean classic came out in 1996. The whole movie is an acquired taste. Yes the acting was a bit forced in some places but it was a whole different take on Shakespeare. The score was the best part about the movie. I’m kissing you by Des’ree – is gorgeous and touched me deep 🙂 (Not featured here but – Click on the song name if you wish to hear it…)
