I put down my pen. I walked away from my thoughts and looked at other things. Examined the world from different angles in ways that some would say are quite impossible. I am happy to say that even though the world sometimes seems to burn around me my focus is a lot more powerful then my pain or pre conceived notions of what I should be worried about.
The world seems to be going through a lot right now. I don’t own a TV or look into the news but I hear concern from my friends and also intense weather. The other night there was a wall of tornados that ripped all across the land. And not only that the Sun has been throwing off some severe CMEs (coronal mass ejections) which most people are not even aware of. The sun has the potential to send us back to the stone age – If aligned properly our whole grid could go down even the electronics in your car. No more internet phone or cars… Imagine!
If a CME enters interplanetary space, it is referred to as an interplanetary coronal mass ejection (ICME). ICMEs are capable of reaching and colliding with Earth’s magnetosphere, where they can cause geomagnetic storms, aurorae, and in rare cases damage to electrical power grids. The largest recorded geomagnetic perturbation, resulting presumably from a CME, was the solar storm of 1859. Also known as the Carrington Event, it disabled parts of the newly created United States telegraph network, starting fires and electrically shocking some telegraph operators. – Taken from Wikipedia
So I am not so sure about the world now a days. And that is okay. The world could end at any moment. Being in a cocoon or not – would not make a difference. I pick up this pen (blog) and I strive to bring a new idea or concept to light in each blog. I feel like I can share positive refection’s here. I have many topics I would like to dive into.
My focus has been on creation. I am always working on little things at my house. My home (cocoon) I painted last year. A fun project that I was fortunate to be a part of was my friends new book. I read through each chapter with him and we both got excited about the characters and he asked me if I would like to help with the cover… Here it the new book!!! It was so much fun helping to create a cover for this book. The book is the 1st in a series about exploring new worlds. It was like diving into a whole different reality. So much fun and the best part is it told in a way that feels like if you tried the techniques in the book you might be able to travel to distant lands yourself.
No matter where you are at today. Don’t worry about the world around you. Go out there and spend some portion of your day focusing on something you enjoy doing. Give yourself some time. If you can do that all day – then go for it.
